In the Carranza vale one finds multitude of megalithic monuments like dolmens or tumuli. In 1904 there were discovered the engravings of the cave of Ventalaperra, in Molinar quarter, in addition to other archaeological remains in enclaves of the same environment studied at the beginning of the XXth century by J. M. Barandiarán.
