Igorre, is the geographical center of the vale of Arratia, of rural environment, bordered by the nature reserves of Urkiola and Gorbea, whose basic activity is industrialist.

In the place of Intxaur Bizkar belonging to the municipalities of Igorre and Dima, finds the small quarter of Elgezua, where in the XIth century built the chapel of Saint Lucia, in which also one gave cult to San Kristobal. Saint whose devotion ended up by imposing his name to the place, which officially is Saint Lucia, but commonly it is known like the quarter of St Kitts of Igorre.
